Christmas Eve Service - "Patience as Worship"

  • How long have you sat quietly in prayer, alone or with others, and prayers have been said, then...the silence and waiting begins to feel awkward, to the point that you think, "Letʻs wrap this up."?

  • The Christmas Story was an answer to prayer and prophecy for over 1,400 years!

  • This Christmas we hyperlink the Christmas Story told in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke back to the Old Testament that spoke about this event in Malachi, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Micah, Hosea, 2 Samuel, and Numbers.

  • Christmas is a time to search your heart beyond the awkwardness of the quiet, when you donʻt immediately see God moving, and remind yourself to simply, "wait upon the LORD."

  • Christmas is a time to celebrate kairos, divine time, when we trust in the slow work of God that is perfectly timed.

Parking is in the municipal lot entered from Beretania past Alapai or up the ramp off Cooke Street ($3.50 flat rate)

Casual and friendly atmosphere.  Come as you are.  Weʻre a laid back community of people with serious faith seeking Godʻs best for our life.

Childrenʻs program (pre-school through middle school) runs concurrently with the Adult service.

ABOUT us

We are a group of ordinary people who are sinners, no better than anyone else, doing our best to follow what Jesus said to do.  In our personal journeys that we share in community, we focus on who we are becoming for the sake of others.  Our spiritual formation process can be summarized as denying self, surrendering fully, and following daily.  This is from Matthew 16: 24 "Then Jesus said to his disciples, 'Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me."  The Bible is God's Word and we hold fast to its truths and principles.  We are committed to follow Jesus and His instructions to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength, and to go out and reach people with His love where we live and throughout the world.
